I led the Nationwide Signature Campaign against Climate Change in July, 2010. This is my first program that I ever conducted when I was in Grade 9. Right Honorable President of Nepal, Dr. Ram Baran Yadav commenced this campaign on July 9, 2010 on a special ceremony organized at the Office of President, Nepal.

Altogether 125 thousands of signatures collected from all over the nation against Climate Change was handed over to the Government of Nepal on behalf of the then Rt. Honorable Prime Minister, Mr. Madhav Kumar Nepal and then Minister of Environment, Mr. Thakur Prasad Sharma at the official residence of Prime Minister. The signatures were collected from all the 75 Districts of Nepal with the help of Districts Representatives that I had recruited from my school.

We demanded the Government to make new plan of action and policies to address adverse effects of Climate Change in Nepal. We also stressed the government to raise the issue of ice melting of mountains of Nepal in the United Nations.

Hon. Madhav Nepal formally inaugurated NEPAL LIBRARY CAMPAIGN led by me at Chelsea International Academy. The aim of the campaign is to establish libraries in all the 75 districts of Nepal.

I started this campaign when I was in Grade 12.Thousands of students have to study without a single book in the remote hilly and mountain region of Nepal. This campaign is working to its fullest to provide books for the students with the help of US Embassy Library, Asia Foundation and few other organizations. Being the founder of this campaign, I was also the Executive Head of the organizing committee of Inauguration Ceremony.
